Hello Volker,

I have just tested your plugin in a clean virtual machine, and I must admit that I do not fully understand how it is supposed to work.

For example, when I click Download on Kalendar iCal, my default browser opens. Why does this happen?

After that, I cannot find where the block is available inside Mobirise. Where is it supposed to appear?

Is this item a block or a plugin?

Could you please explain the correct procedure? At the moment, the workflow feels rather unusual and not very intuitive from a user’s point of view.

PS: Since I do not have your email address, I will publish a separate topic on this forum explaining how to include additional files such as scripts, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, or CSS during publication.

Der linke Ical Kalender ist genau so aufgebaut, Du musst ihn downloaden und dann die mbrext importieren. Dann hast DU in den Seiteneigenschaften das Menü um das Passwort einzugeben. Die Version rechts daneben ist die wo man das PHP Script separat runter laden muss und per FTP auf den Server legen muss.

You might want to consider integrating the installation process directly into VN Block Galerie, because I felt a bit lost with all the text in German.

By the way, are you planning to internationalize your plugin to make it easier to understand for non-German-speaking users?

For installation from your plugin, you could use the native downloadAddon function. It would be cleaner.

Das aus der Galerie heraus zu installieren habe ich noch nicht vor, ich bin jetzt erstmal happy zu wissen wie ich die Dateien in den Plugin Ordner bekomme und mit Mobirise veröffentlichen kann.

Die Galerie ist für meine Blöcke - ich bin halt ein Deutscher Und alles was ich mache ist in Deutsch. Ich habe auch nicht vor das in anderen Sprachen anzubieten. Ich denke Mobirise Blöcke sind so simpel das jeder die versteht auch wenn er nicht sofort alle Schalter und Farbpicker zuordnen kann weil die in Deutsch beschriftet sind. Ich persönlich komme auch mit Blöcken kar die in Russisch oder arabisch beschriftet sind Ich erwarte von Usern auch ein bisschen Mitarbeit und denken

What I was also suggesting is that, instead of asking the user to download the plugin first and then install it manually, you could provide a simple Install action directly from within your plugin, using the native function mentioned earlier.

DAs habe ich schon verstanden

Aber ich habe noch keine Ahnung wie ich die Galerie umbauen muss um das zu schaffen. Ich bin da ja auch erst am Anfang und mir fehlt noch einiges an Wissen

Hast du einen MAC ?
Am PC habe ich das noch nie festgestellt
Warum sollte das Icon oben verschwinden ? Kenne jetzt keinen Grund dafür

ich glaube das MobiWise sich daran stört (mich stört das jetzt nicht wirklich), dass beim Download der Browser geöffnet wird, bzw. geöffnet bleib:

Kannst Du das nicht mit so etwas in PHP verhindern?

hast du auch ab und zu kein icon oben in Mobirise ?
Bei mir am PC und 2 Laptops ist das immer da

nee - was soll ich tun, um das Icon angeblich los zu werden?

Ich habe bestimmt schon 50 - 60 Anwendungen direkt eingefügt oder herunter geladen. Das hatte ich noch nicht, das wäre mir 100%ig aufgefallen.

Muss jetzt erst einmal für einige Stunden weg ...

Das mit dem Download lasse ich so. Ich sehe da kein Problem wenn der Browser aufgeht. Ich finde das eigentlich normal weil so sieht der User das es ein ganz normaler Download Link ist und nix geheimes was da runter geladen wird

After all, why open the default browser to download a file? Mobirise, being an Electron app, already includes a browser.

OK, das liegt zu 100% an der VM
Teste das direkt auf deinem PC - warum VM ? Das ist mit Sicherheit ein Ressourcen-/Performance-Problem des Editors in der virtualisierten Umgebung

In der VM: Wenn die VM unter hoher Last steht oder die Emulation der Grafikkarte (GPU-Passthrough) suboptimal konfiguriert ist, kann es bei der Dekodierung des Base64-Strings zu einer kurzen Verzögerung kommen. Wenn Mobirise in diesem Moment das Layout "refreshed" (z.B. nach dem Einfügen eines neuen Blocks), wird das Icon vielleicht als "nicht verfügbar" markiert und nicht neu gezeichnet.

Ich werde das gegen ein echtes Bild tauschen denk ich
